^^ I could, almost, see that happening. He probably stuck the rag in there, and the cam or rocker arms snatched it.
I found a full tube of silicone under the intake on a 350 in a Chevy p/u. It had to have been there quite a while, as oil was cooked to the outside, and the silicone was hard.
I found a small plastic grocery bag wedged into the fuel pressure regulator on the 85 rx-7 I have at the shop. No clue how it got there, and couldn't even begin to guess.
A guy had a z24 Cavalier(early body style) at the shop next door for a motor. He wanted to know if they could put a "small block 454" in it, and if it would cost any extra.
Customer's bring us vehicles that they can't get running. They've changed coils, dist. caps, crank sensors, etc. They get really red when we charge them $10 for gas...
My favorite is to get in a vehicle with bhg's, that the customer swears never overheated, to find a picture of kids, significant other, etc., stuck in front of the temp gauge.
