No, I don't think you can call any of the LS motors a smallblock.

The LS motors were 100% new designs. They are after the smallblock/bigblock era.

Wicked motors though. I sold my 2000 Trans Am a couple of years ago, but it was a blast to drive.

yeah, thats why i'm planning on using one in the mk2, but project is on hiaitus untill i get this divorce thing done.

i know a lot of guys don't care for the idea, but go to a show like silv, and with the exception of elhsupra over at cs, all the cars look the same underhood, with their 7m and jz swaps, i want something to stand out

I'd like to see a MKII chassis, back halved with a 4 link, with a turbo LS motor, a built TH-400 and a 9" ford rear.

Talk about a wicked killer drag setup. You'd beat some serious ass with that combo.

And it would look mean as hell as well.
