what is the best quality BOV that holds psi wont leak reliable and SOUNDS GOOD??? PLEASE ADD A VIDEO IF YOU HAVE ONE

The HKS SSQV is designed in a way that it's impossible to leak supposedly. I have one on my 7m and it works great. Plenty of vids on youtube. They make different inserts for it too if you wanted to go that route or you can get a recirculation fitting. I don't know about the others you mentioned but I can say that the HKS does work good and it turns a lot of heads. The choice is yours

I have tested my intercooler setup for 35psi and the HKS SSQV does not leak. If it was me and I was basing this decision purely on performance then I would go for a Tial BOV.

The HKS SSQV sounds ok but everyone has one...

For stock twins, use the stock BOV. No point in changing it

I did one piece hardpipes/FMIC because I got an engine set rather than frontclip. at that point I decided that was a good time to do the Tial..

If I would have had stock front mount and pipes, probably wouldn't have touched much.

hey budd!! its funny dude, my rear turbo was rebuilt when I first got my motor right, and I guess putting that 3" Trust DP was a bad idea haha. they creep to 17psi even in the summer and subsequently I think that rear twin is smoking. the chassis itself seems alright though.. I'm gonna send you a PM though here in a minute. I have a few questions that perhaps you can shed some light on.

My experiences with blow-off valves on my Supra(s):

TurboXS RFL - Sounds like a whip. It was O-K.
Had reason to believe it started leaking a bit with high boost.

HKS SSQV - Sounds like: insert every other boosted car on the street.
I had no problems with it...but the sound gets old after a while.

Blitz SuperSound - Holds quite a bit of boost, never leaks, sounds unique. (On my car currently).

TiAL 50MM - Hands down, the best BOV I've owned.
Holds boost, looks great, and under heavy loads of boost, has a sound that weakens knees. ;)

HTH,
Jeff

What about for stock location? I'm installing a 1jz and wanted to keep the stock location for now until I made a block off plate.. What are the options for stock location upgrades for the 1jz?

ARC and HKS SSQV s1 are the main ones I've seen that can mount at the stock location.. though that's not to say there isn't others.

IMO keep it stock if you're going to use that location.

Dylan, thanks for answering my question... Any reasons why you recommend leaving it stock?

well, its mainly because of the cost of those.. both the ARC and the HKS cost as much as their universal counterparts, if not more. so the question would be why limit yourself by the stock location when you can just go universal and at least mount it to an insert plate/pipe and put it over on the TB side. by doing so you're also setting yourself up for having a single in the future for when your twins decide to start going out on you (not a nice comment, but its so common that you have to consider it happening). thats what foreverpsycotic and tlo86 were getting at earlier..

i follow.. so its either I keep it at stock location with an upgrade and stay twin or use a universal one for cold side location for potentially going single.. Tks Bro...

stock location suck's.when the throttle plate close's it can still damage the first turbo, because it's mounted on the rear charge pipe.
