would 15in rims be impossibly small and just a bad idea for a supra? (mk3)

there's a guy locally letting a set of 4 go for 200 bucks...to mee that seems like a great deal, but 15in seems pushing it, especially without lowering the car, but i figured i'd check and see if anyone has a picture of a supra with 15's.

apparently they were 300 a piece when new...so it's basically a 1k dollars off.

There nice wheels! Lower the car ALOT though, maybe some H&R's.

i figured without any lowering it would look horrible... but i just HAD to ask. i dont know if that is a great deal but it seemed like it. too bad i dont really have the money to lower my car...

how much does it usually cost to lower a car properly? $1k? $1.5k? 2?

hopefully someone will have a photo.

eh. eibachs are oK if your stock shocks are fine. Or just get some kyb gr's. JZA70 springs are also very nice...

15" is going to look like crap no matter how low you get. Image how tall the tire is going to be!

dont know, the bolt pattern is 5x114.3mm if that helps at all.

they're BBS RX 224's...but that doesnt tell you anything about offset either.

and as for the tire height, i wouldnt use thicker tires than i already have... eh. i'll take your word for it though. bad idea. thanks guys

One of the idiots(Probably my friend) that owned the car before me put 15" five spokes on. Look good other than the gap between the wheel and fender. Took off like a bat outta hell with the 4.30 diff. but that was about the only cool thing about them.

dont ask questions. for that price, pick em up and run them on your lawnmower or sell on ebay for a nice profit.
