Battery going dead overnight!

There a draw on my battery that runs it dead over night from the dome circuit.

I looked on TSRM and it showed that a B+ comes from the dome fuse to ECT ECU, I removed the ECT ECU when I did my 5-speed swap.

would that cause this problem?

First off, you don't bump your own thread after 7 minutes of waiting. Your problem isn't necesarily more important than someone else's.

Second, how old is your battery? Did it ever cross your mind maybe your battery just bit the dust? Maybe its low on water, did you check that?

If there was a current running through your dome light, then they would be on...unless of course they were burned out in which case the circuit couldn't be completed anyway.

Did you try pulling that particular fuse and see if there is any current going through the fuse seats with a multimeter?

First off the battery is a brand new optima red top and second I said it was the dome circuit not the dome light.

I turned the car off and took the ground off the battery and put a test light on the ground wire and then put the light on the ground battery post.

The test light lit up then I started to pull fuses to see witch circuit was, when I pulled the dome fuse the light turned off, so it's the dome circuit.

man I had to read it a few times to make out what it was you tested lol.
So the circuit stayed lit and going through all the fuses, the Dome circuit seems to be the culprit. I would check the dome light/switch to see if it is grounding./rusted in anyway. then go from there.

+1

and Bamf, that post before includes quite a bit of info that would be helpful to include in the first post for future reference.

The dome light itself is all clean and looks brand new, could it be the integration relay? and if so can I test it?

I think it's the integration relay, now where to find one it's $180 bucks from Toyota. I can't find any junk yards with mklll supras in the Olympia area

IS the relay that sits behind the fusebox located behind the driver's kick panel?
I have an 88 parts car and I m sure it has it. :)

I don't know if this will help but worth a look.

When you close the door, do you know if the red light reflector on the doors turns off?

Depends on the light. Regardless, it's a poor way to test for parasitic drain..

That's what I was getting at ;)

The TSRM says anywhere from 20 to 70 milliamps are acceptable. If its not the TSRM, then Toyota says it.

Not unless it was shorting out somwehere.

I cut the power to the harness, and took the ground with the harness. I was intending on putting the seat in my toyota pick-up. That's why i un-wired the harness.
