How do you bondo so smoothly? I can never seem to get the mixture right, it just starts to harden up on me too fast... Im tryin to bondo a dual pod onto a spare a-pillar I have, and it looks like chewed up gum... What am I doin wrong?

BTW: that looks sweet...
thanks:icon_bigg , I think your using too much hardner in your bondo... when you mix it together throughly it should be a light pink color that way it doesnt harden too fast....trust me if you can build a engine like yours you can deff. use bondo:icon_wink

Stop it now, you're making a fool of yourself Brandon. ;)

emp: I don't know if I'd be f'ing with the SVX's auto trans... they're already finnicky... i'd be very leary of messing with it.

There's a video of a Jeep with this mod at the AW web site. Noticeable lag in the Jeep application.

http://awshifting.com/video.html
if you read the description in the other part of the website he said the sound also lags in that video... Ill try to get a vid up as soon as I can, along with snow and finding a video camera that works wit my com it might be a little bit but Ill get one on here one way or another.

Fair enough, but you can see him push the button and then see the tach respond when the shift occurs with the sound off. In any case, the jeep transmission is not the A340, so it could be responding quite differently.

yea, thats true, and even though mine doesnt have that bad of a delay, I think it might work even better when I get a new TPS, my current one is on its way out fast and wont even come close to calibrated and making me idle and run funky....im working on getting one out of the F/s section now
