any way to leave the converter lockup on the factory schedule when in manual mode? or do you have to controll that aswell?

no, when in manual mode you have to controll that yourself, when its in auto mode it will controll its self....witch that part I dont care for too much because I dont know exactly when to use it or not so Im going to be reading up on that

does it fully reduce the usual delay from using the shifter to upshift? or is it almost instant. for instance, if your in first gear in it to win it and its at 6k when you push the button, does it shift at 6k? or does it shift at like 6500 because of the delay?

actually when I first got it I was expecting a bad delay due to what people told me, but once I got out and test drove it when I was done installing there is very little if none at all..its actually pretty fun to use when you get use to it...Ill try to get a video on here eventually

I already told you I think the install is sweet, you did a nice job. But if I were you I would seriously looking into putting some buttons on the steering wheel. Def wouldn't be the easiest install but worth it.

Yea, I would have to make some sort of a spindle (like what the horn and cruse control uses) for the wires to turn with the wheel without wraping around though

from my understanding besides lowerin the RPM as the over drive does it also lowers the pressure in the tranny to give you less friction..in turn gives you better mileage and more efficent...anyone please correct me if Im wrong

in my opnion I think it was deff. worth it....I still havent had that much time to test it out due to it starting to snow this weekend but for the time I did drive it I really like it

I dont think the delay is that much on mine, Ill get a video up one way or the other.. it could be as bad as a video phone unless I can figure out how to get my nice video camera to upload on my comp.

I'm in for the video. If your video camera records to tape, you can either
A: Take it to your highschool and have the video dept put it on a CD
or
B: take it to your local community college and have them do the same.

How do you bondo so smoothly? I can never seem to get the mixture right, it just starts to harden up on me too fast... Im tryin to bondo a dual pod onto a spare a-pillar I have, and it looks like chewed up gum... What am I doin wrong?

Stop using 10yr old bondo Jake.
Other than that, use less hardener. See how his is a tan color?
you really don't need much of that stuff... honestly, you'd be surprised how little you really need for it to work.

Oh, its not 10 years old... *blows dust off the can* hahaha... I just followed the instructions on the can, but jeez, the first bit of it was nice and smooth, then it was all glumpy... I do drywall for a living, so Im used to mixing what's called "hot mud", its the powder that comes in a bag, you mix it with water, there are different "times" like 20 min, 45 min or 90 min mud... It hardens like a rock, hard as hell to sand, but great for base coat... ANNNNNYway, I thought this stuff would be the same, you just mix it and smooth it quick... I guess Im not quick enough, lol... I even thought about mixing up some hot mud and just doin it that way, lol... So just mix half the hardener?

Take a good bit out of the can, like, say a good scoop of ice cream size.
add a couple DROPS of the hardener. mix.
if you add enough to change the color of the bondo, i've found it's too much.
