Hey guys. This might end up to be a stupid question but; Why is one redline at 6.5 and the other is at 7 rpm on you gauge clusters? (I'm speaking about your avatars) Is there a difference in year?

I was on a turbo Buick forum(forgive me SM:nono and they were adding 2 gallons Denatured alcohol to 3 gallons of 91octain... Good to Go!!!
I will be driving the car a bit hard on the way to heat the cat, then add the alcohol around the corner drive it there and hope for the best!!!:aigo:

I doubt you'll get past the ref. The 1JZ lacks an EGR system. No matter what the emissions are, no EGR, no pass. There's also a chance you'll be put on a special little list of people unable to pass without a ref inspection, so you won't be able to cheat the system either.

It's a charcoal canister.
Is that your engine? I don't recall if you have a 1j or not.
