You should just swing by and check it out. But I guess it would be much more important to get your car up before you go and get another headache man. I feel your pain too!

My basically fed up with my 7m. It just rolled over 101,xxx so basically its on a down hill slope and getting into some costly repairs. I know the turbo has seized up and being a dumbass I limped back and forth from work and it burned the clutch up.
Here's the spec sheet from toyota of fayetteville of the cost of repairs.
clutch kit, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, turn flywheel-$720
Oil valley gaskets and gromets- $560
This one made me laugh, Turbo, seals, and studs - $3,927
Random rubber hoses that have gone bad in and around the turbo - $349
Now did toyota actually drop the transmission and look to see if the bearings needed to be replaced, I doubt it. It still drives. I know I can find a rebuilt upgraded ct-26 turbo for 400-700 or have mine rebuilt around the same price.
All the money I could use to fix it could go towards a 1JZ which I want to do.Which is highly possible with my tax return and the money I have saved up. I need something to keep up with my buddies Rb20 powered 240 :naughty:
OMG you are getting WAY OVER PRICED. Head over to VDP motorsports in Tulsa, OK. Supra 7M specialist, he will cut all that in less than half of what you are paying!!!! He can get it all done in a day's work too if you have all the parts there.
