Justin, seriously, you are not looking hard enough.

The "consequences" of being a vegetarian means:

99% of the food industry does not care about about you, fact of life, move on.

Vegetarian oriented foods, meals, etc are going to be more expensive and harder to find.
(But they ARE there, you just have to get off your ass and look. Most popular grocery stores now adays have health food isles, and you can even spy some neat stuff in the frozen goods section)

I was a vegetarian from 1989-1992, there's a LOT more foods/meals/recipes available now than there was then. I remember eating pretty good back then so...

seems to me you're just a whiner :icon_razz

He's a guy (well, he so he claims :biglaugh:) so I doubt he's a real great hand at cooking homemade stuff (he apparently doesn't do much of the cooking since he always complains about pulling meat out). So he's looking for more ready to eat/fast food thats Veggy, right? I think he's just complaining that he would have to custom make every meal to avoid picking meat out of it, and he doesn't like to do that, he'd rather that normal meals just didn't have meat.

There are plenty of "normal" meals that don't have meat.

AKAIK mac and cheese doesn't have any meat, and certainly doesn't take a rocket scientist to make. Some of the frozen dinner mac n cheese' are pretty good, like Stouffers (dunno about "meat" content as I haven't read labels for years now). And other frozen pastas, like Fettucini Alfredo.

Double baked potatoes are FTW, as well as cheese and broccoli and a bunch of other shit. I'm too lazy to Google this, but anyone who's been food shopping (for more than just beer and chips) should know there's plenty out there for brain dead, er, I mean vegetarians, heh.

Some good veggie soups too, although you have to read the label carefully as some still have a meat (chicken or beef) broth.

You don't have to be a chef or have a vagina to have common sense with cooking and food shopping. Take 30 seconds out of your day to look for something other than the frozen dinner that's advertised on TV.

Eek, nothing personal. Just a harmless generalization :p
And I don't look at Frozen Dinner. Thats too much work. I like fast food better :biglaugh:
Of course when I have time forget either....I'll actually go to a real place and get real food, but thats not that often....

those inconsiderate bastards, I just bought a 3 meat pizza because it was the only one that has stuffed crust, and would you believe the amount of meat they put on these things? Shouldnt they consider the vegetarian and not put the same quantity of meat on the pizza?

Screw me if Im wrong, but that was just awful!

Meat good, best thing about meat is when it runs away, you jump out of a tree and eat it right, there. That may have pushed it a little, but hey, its true. There's always cheese pizza, and nuts, for you veggs out there. Dont be vegan though, you die fast. Proven fact, but they make cool shoes, saucony's area all vegan.
