dont run it dry, leave fluid in there and then plug it up. it is a bitch with it dry, but if you have something in there, then it helps alot.

with a few modifications u can pull the manual rack out of a pre-86 fox bodie mustang and make it work, a freind of mine did it on his car, he's not a real big guy either

When you fill it up and plug it are you linking both sides together? Wouldn't just plugging it make it harder since the fluid isn't moving in and out of the chambers?

I had no PS this summer and have a small momo steering wheel. Like most people said already, it's fine everywhere but in slow driving conditions, then it's a bitch. If you had a choice though, i would say it's definately not worth it to not have it unless it's strictly a drag car. But mine is on the way from driftmotion so i'm laughing now.

its easy to drive without power steering. be a man and stop crying about how much you can bench and can't turn a wheel.

Most weight lifters lift weights to make up for something.

it just keeps it from running dry and possibly dryrotting seals. its easier to swap back to a system that works.

keep in mind back in the 60's there were big block cadillacs that weighed a little over two tons and they didn't have power steering a supra is really, really light for any car that doesnt have PS considering most others are 60's and 70's boats
