If you ain't in the 350 plus club...go home :D

If anyone is in need of a PS setup to fix leaks, PM me. I will be doing my 1J swap in another month and I have a new PS pump and high pressure hose that I recently replaced on my 7M. Bought a new rack also, but that is staying with the car.

We have remanufactured 1jz ps pumps for $130, $50 core charge and $10 shipping.
Now there is less reason not to have power steering LOL

It would suck to drive without power steering.

I took mine out because I wanted it out. My PS pump was fine and zero leaks. I think some people just have different ideas of how to go about making their car their own.

Werd, I'm removing mine cause...A: The shit didn't work from the get-go, and B: not seeing too much use of it on a drag car. Making that turn onto the return road ain't that hard.:icon_bigg

how do you think people drove back in the day with no ps and they were driving around heaver cars than us. i have heard that if you pull the ps and fill the rack with oil, its closer to a manual rack. im still awaiting confirmation on this, but it seams plausable.

I had no PS for a while, and I found it very uncomfortable to drive like that. I have a small aftermarket steering wheel which probably makes it worse. Also 18x8.5 front rims which might make it worse than stock wheels as well? ..

I could definalty see why it was hard for you. Bigger contact patch and less leverage would make it really hard. I'm rollin' stlock pretty much everything.

damn you guys and your weight lifting. I'm 250 6ft tall. I don't bench or lift at all but i can hold my own :) driving sucks with out PS. I use to drive a 4000lb+ car with out it and it sucked. But have fun!
