i LOVE the feel of no power steering. Its that brute force strong you feel everything feel that i love.
My carts PPS is messed and when it was on the road it was stiff but not power steering less. Man i loved it. But once you break the tires loose around a corner get ready for snap oversteer it WILL rip the steering wheel from your hands when it goes to correct to the other way if your not holding on.
its happened to me personally.
How wide are your rims???? I think if you had wide rims it would be hard to steer.IHI-RHC7 said:What makes you say the pump is gonna go?
My hardtop has never had ps, it's not that bad.
it squeals VERY loudly, and i used the right fluid... it's at the correct level, and there's no air in the lines, pluss when you look in the res. there are tiny bubbles everywhere...IHI-RHC7 said:What makes you say the pump is gonna go?

stock '91 wheels, but soon to be 17x10.5 and 17x9... but i'll have the ps fixed by then...daledoe said:How wide are your rims???? I think if you had wide rims it would be hard to steer.
yeh, i was kinda concerened about that, how much do new pumps run?figgie said:[record player]
3200 kbs v 200 lbs. The car will win there is zero reason to not have powersteering. And if you ever get into an emergency situation without powersteering. Just hold on for the ride because no amount of muscling is going to get that steering wheel under control.
