3200 kbs v 200 lbs. The car will win ;) there is zero reason to not have powersteering. And if you ever get into an emergency situation without powersteering. Just hold on for the ride because no amount of muscling is going to get that steering wheel under control.

i LOVE the feel of no power steering. Its that brute force strong you feel everything feel that i love.

My carts PPS is messed and when it was on the road it was stiff but not power steering less. Man i loved it. But once you break the tires loose around a corner get ready for snap oversteer it WILL rip the steering wheel from your hands when it goes to correct to the other way if your not holding on.

its happened to me personally.

yep
all cars have some type of mechanical advatage on the steering.

be it

hydraulically assited (oem MKII Supra) or gearing (the mustang replacement rack). Again 3 hp drop, if you are losing races by that much hp then you are already teetering at the max hp the 7m can handle or

you haven't turned the boost on.

My hardtop has never had ps, it's not that bad.
How wide are your rims???? I think if you had wide rims it would be hard to steer.

it squeals VERY loudly, and i used the right fluid... it's at the correct level, and there's no air in the lines, pluss when you look in the res. there are tiny bubbles everywhere...

with the power steering pump out and the lines recirculated its honestly no worse then driving a honda with out power steering or an rx-7. as far as drifting and auto-x with out powesteering in our cars, id def say thats a big no no haha. i only run 225 tires in the front also, so if you have wider tires it may be more of a hassle

Well...the safety side of not having power steering is kind of in the shadows. It's a little dangerous if you lose control of the car...but to answer your question, Having power steering is not too bad. Turning the wheel while under 5 mph requires a bit of muscle...but once you get moving, it's just fine.

LOL good one. You are kidding right?!! I have no problems turning the steering wheel and at rapid turns etc.. You gotta start to work out a lil dude. ;)

Serious though..I have not had PS for over 2 years and is great. Looks cleaner under hood, less weight and gives back some power. +1 in my book.

Did you know that when the first Toyota's were produced in the 1930-40's, they were actually called Toyoda because that was the last name of the guy that started the company. :) Once they hit production across the waters, he changed them to "TOYOTA" because he didn't think that us American's could pronounce it properly.;)
