Anybody into playing music?

Just wanted to see if anyone's into playing music... I've been playing bass for about 5 years now and about a year back cwapface let me borrow his drum kit which I then had to give back so I went and got my own. I've been playing those quite a bit lately.

Just tonight I found some pics I took a little while back of them and decided I should wave my e-penis around a little

I play guitar, I have 2 guitars (a no-name strat and a BC Rich Beast). I'll try and get some pics of them and everything I have and what we all have in our music room.

I have a Fender tube amp that I love, and I just bought a Boss ME50 pedal a couple weeks ago and love it as well. I would take pics right now but the camera is dead.

I really wanna pick up another guitar, but right now I don't have the money

I play Electric guitar, kinda gave it up, but i still got the guitar, looking to sell it for like 500 obo, but its a nice guitar,
Custom Pic Gaurd, Floyd Rose, White, Kramer(Brand-Kind of brand that Van Halen uses) Excelent condition, comes with amp it sounds wicked tho, and i love it, but i just dont play it enough, it deserves a good owner who will use it to its capabilities

Spipedong, where is the other pedal? Unless you've got the foot speed of John Bonham (refer to "Good Times Bad Times"), you should have another. Not necessarily a double bass setup, just another pedal.

What kind of stuff are you into and who are some of your favorite drummers/percussionists?

I love the tube amp sound. Doom, stoner and sludge metal wouldn't be the same without it!

i've got a gibson SG, black with brushed aluminum pickguard, and i play through a Mesa/Boogie triple rectifier 3 channel solo head (all tube ) and a 4x12 stereo cab.

Wow, everyone plays guitar...lol. I currently own 4 Analog synths, 1 Sampler...Roland: Alpha-Juno1, Juno-60, SH-1. Korg DW-6000, Oberheim DMX. I recently sold two rackounts, an Oberheim Matrix-1000, and a Kurzweil K-3000. I am also running a MIDI interface to my PowerMac G3 (sequencing/programming), and I have a little Tascam 4-track .

I am also using an Alesis fx unit, with Behringer mixer, and Bose Monitors...

I have two Big vintage Sony's and a JBL sub for just enjoying music too, but I need a new stereo amplifier right now....

Haha, I actually have a double bass setup but I never use it. I just really prefer single pedal.

that's awesome... :-/ i seriously wish i could play the piano... i, on the other hand play the drums... got a yamaha set right beside me... got one old pic, and one i just took... room's a mess b/c i'm bout to go off to college... they're burgundy btw... some kinda wood :dunno:

I rock the guitar, haha. I've got 2 electrics and 1 acoustic. 2 amps, one big one and a practice one. Also play keyboard and from my days in band Baritone, Trombone and Sax (still play the baritone every once in awhile. Me and my friends had a ska band and I played guitar and the ToNe, haha).

here is my gear... My beautiful new Yamaha RGXA2 (those of you who dont know this guitar, must not care for new technology ) and my 2 Line 6 Stompboxes, one for delay and one for distrotion. I can even loop chords on the green one (delay one). and my wah pedal ftw lol.
Edidt. I also play more instruments. I used to have a bass, oplayed trombone in high school, played drums for a bit too, and im earning violin. oh yeah, i also play the piano, ill go take pics of it after im finished eating.

I also play the bass and then started playing the drums. Have a Fender Jazz 5 string and a Tama kit. Started playing bass in 1992 and then drums around 2004.

i've strayed away from distortion pedals. however, on my practice amp, i use a SansAmp GT-2 tube distortion pedal. it makes my crappy little practice amp sound like my mesa/boogie triple rec.

I'm hiding at the other end of the snare line (section leader woop woop) but this was part of the drum line I was in.

heh, i was in a band for a while too. (6 years, actually)

me a long time ago- (9th or 10th grade i think)-

me not too long ago- (maybe two years ago?) at a reunion show.

and me on the far right at a show at a local club- also about two years ago. (the band got back together for a while, but it was shortlived)

i really miss that band... a lot.

Yeah I played with KP for...4 years? I recently quit, don't have time for it anymore. Still going to be recording with them though.

Fav. drummers are Neil Peart, neil peart, neil peart, Virgil Donati, and the dude from Incubus hah.

At the upcoming "last show" with me I will be busting out the midi triggered roto-toms to play Neil Peart's "Der Trommeller" R30 2005 solo.....well as best I can with my tiny 15 piece. :biglaugh:
