The 2 guitars i use the most. Fender Custom Shop Strat (live) and a flip flop paint Gibson SG (recording/live). The Fender is considerably louder than the Gibson.

If you want to hear my band click here. I write the lyrics and guitar, sometimes bass. Then I give the song to my drummer and bassist and let them have at it. Thats why the song "Unfinished" is on there. Because my drummer and bassist wanted to hear it and didnt want to wait for it to be done.

lol...I like how nobody noticed that I posted...are there any other electronic music people here?
What's electronic music? ;)

Shaeff, the SG is killer, man. From what you've said in this thread, I suggest you check out the band Place Of Skulls. I think you'll really like the deep, clean, tube sound. I know the lead guitar player uses a Les Paul, which I've become a very big fan of.

So yeah, I own a guitar but never play it. It's just a cheap BC Rich Platinum Assassin - nothing special.

I'm moving back to CA in two months and I have five friends in the same band, so I'll have them learn me some snazzy stuff soon.

craig, thanks. :) i love sg's mated with a good tube amp. i actually went to the music shop that day to get me a $2000 less paul, but ended up going home with my SG. :) i'm still not exactly sure how it happened, but i liked the sound of the SG through my amp better than the les paul.

though, that was probably only that one les paul. oh well. :) i'll check out that band for sure!

piano when I was a kid (I can only play 1 song currently)
picked up bass....8 years ago, played for 3 years in 2 bands. both bands broke up, at the last concert I smashed the bass. Then I picked up guitar which I played for 2 years in random bands. now I own 2 acoustics that I MIGHT pick up once a month. That's all. And I can keep a beat on the drums, but I'm actually really crappy at that.
