Ya Mamas house!
I dont see many people without the stock seats in there supras so I was wondering if any other car seats were a direct bolt in. I heard of a guy bolting mkIII seat in his miata but I havnt heard anything that is a sure direct bolt in! Does anybody know if there are any interchangeable seats for mk3?

IMO, the only reasons to change out the stock seats is weight savings, as the stockers are extremely comfortable and supportive. So unless your budget allows for light but strong and supportive seats, anything else is probably a downgrade. My $0.02.

^True they are very form fitting... but alot of them (like mine) lol are in horrible condition. The way I see it is, If Im going to pay 400+ to have them reupholstered I may as well buy a set of aftermarket. It depends on how you view things. I dont like power seats so to get a seat that is simple, clean, light, strong and sacrafice alittle comfort would be a win to me. Thats just my openion though.

Aftermarket "racing" seats (the good ones) will cost more then $400. I guess you can buy some of those eBay seats if you wanted to.

Haha... good one! I once owned a honda! But that dosnt mean that I dont like power seats because I owned a honda... I dont like power seats because there slow and heavy. They also are a b**ch to take out if you want to do a through cleaning (as I always do) "you can buy some of those eBay seats " sounds more like a honda owner to me!

I got this not too long ago. It's from a Nissan Skyline. I haven't installed them yet.

Any pics of what the Integra seats look like? Do you know if there are many to be found in leather?

gsr came with black, grey and tan leather seats. also the RSX seats will bolt in since they share the same bolt setup.

I heard that the celica seats would work, but I don't know which years.

I heard that it was from 05 celica that fit...

The previous posters make a good point in that; as far as oem seats, the Supra's are hard to beat. And I'm not nearly as big a fan of the stock seats as some are. I agree they're good for standard equipment.

That being said I'm thinking about trying to fit a passanger seat into the drivers side, and outfit it with the seatback of my electric to keep the lumbar support, and save some weight in the process.

The drivers seat weighs more than a full grown rotweiller.

The passenger seat out of a JDM car is not power, and would fit perfectly. I'm not sure about the passenger seat from an american market Supra.

Subscribed for later suggestions

The Recaro's from the TTR both driver and passanger seats have the same rails, and they both bolted into my 89. So I dont see why a USDM passenger seat wouldnt bolt into the place of the heavy drivers seat.
