lol what are you going to do cut the bars apart then reweld them backtogether later?

Ah, why yes! Isn't the cage welded together anyways?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you just disassemble it the reverse of how it was welded up to start with(?)

P.S. That silver Sup is pretty nice! You definately have a better attitude than I would probably have, if that happened, (or happens...!) to mine.

yes, but that would be VERY timing consuming to cut all the welds and take the bars out. Not to mention expensive to weld backtogether. Its easier and nearly the same ammount of $$ to just get a new one built.

Hey, if you dont want it can i have the cage? I'll come to wherever you are and cut it out myself! I have all the time in the world to cut, and then to reweld. Expensive? Not if you know how to weld

HA it was funny reading the cage comments...Heres how it went in reality...

When I was home sitting on the couch thinking about the car...my mind was saying "hells yea I will cut that cage out. Its a nice cage.."

When I was at the garage...it became" F that I aint going through the hassle of cutting the cage out" LOL It went like that for weeks.... One day I will definitely buy a plasma cutter :)

I figure if I need a cage, I will definitely get one put in. BUt, until then, I will definitely enjoy not having to get in like im BO and Luke Duke.

Grimsta..I had it up for a while trying to get anyone to take the carcass. Had the cage, great frame and suspension. Folks just werent jumping...now that cage is going to China via scrapmetal :) I guess close enough to back to Japan LOL

91T breeze..thanks man. The silver one and me have some history which makes it a lil bit better. Also, when driving the black one, I always thought how much nicer the silver one drove. As for the attitude...I was upset at the time but what can ya do? Sometimes you just get back on the horse and start again..but much better next time LOL. Plus, there are guys who lose more money racing than I could have ever did with my loss. The money is nothing I lost compared to a guy with a 100,000 invested car hitting the guardrail then catching on fire at the track...now with that I think id start slapping people:3d_frown:

I will also be putting up some pics as I get into the motor tomorrow. STay tuned....

Alright got into the motor some more today...was making good progress until I ran into a snafoo...the crank pulley bolt. I loosened it before removing from the car too......Im gonna have to figure something out...

Also the hell with removing twins while the engine is in the car....hard enough with the motor removed...

Ok finally got into the motor....Nothing showing detonation or major engine damage. Looks a lil worn in there...but enough for me to run it until she dies....and imma get my moneys worth....

I noticed that cylinders 1 and 6 had a ton of carbon on them,. The engine was dried up in there so i put some oil on the walls.

Ill start gettin her back together and looking nice :)
