Is this the same Ksport that makes all the crappy, untested Honda-world coilovers?

Yea, But A LOT of lexus guys use this BBK.

More Info:

This kit is designed to fit all MA70 series TOYOTA SUPRA (5x114.3 stud pattern)- It requires the fitment of wheels with a diameter of 17inches or greater (although due to the size of the caliper, they will not fit deeply dished wheels or wheels that have dished in centres). They may fit other vehicles in the Toyota range, but I do not know - the manufacturer can be easily contacted at www.d2racing.com/content/contact & quote the part number: AH8-140-TO23-8, they will be able to tell you more info.

*THIS IS THE FRONT KIT ONLY.

The D2 8 Piston Brake Upgrade Kit are made from lightweight 6061 aluminum alloy and anodized to avoid color loss.

The D2 8 Piston/330mm brakes will fit under most styles of 17' inch wheels.

These are Taiwanese brakes; D2, K-Sport, XYZ, Ect. they're all the same. ;)

I've known about these for a while, was going to buy them. But, it looks like 91T breezen' will be getting a PM in a few months asking him for Pro's and Con's. :D

I have had them on mine for a while now, work great, no problems at all,
paid £500, they were used for a 1000 miles on an M3
rotors were brand new he never fitted them,

unfortunately they would not fit behind my wheels using the 356mm rotors
so I used a 330mm one instead

there is about 4mm of caliper clearance

What size is your wheel? If it is an 18 inch rim...the 355mm rotor should fit!
What should be the clearence between the rotor and the rim to clear these brakes? 2.5 inches should be enough I think...

wheel is 19", the problem is the inward curve on the spokes, I could of used a spacer but needed the car back on the road quickly, so just picked up the 330 rotors.

Well, they already paid off! On my way home from work early Tuesday am (very dark road) pissing rain...a little cat ran out in front of me, and my Supra stopped almost instantly! Very little pedal pressure necessary, a little sliding, probably just because the tires aren't great. I'm a cat lover, so not hitting the little guy, was a great thing!
Still working on the break-in according to the instructions, but I can tell they are going to inspire a little more driving confidence.:icon_bigg

Figgie- yeah, that's who I was thinking of. I wasn't in any way knocking Tom's brakes, just curious as to whether or not they actually put some thought into the kit. Thus far, it seems like they have.

Their coilovers are known to be junk with terrible valving, spring rates, etc... That's why I was surprised to see a decent looking kit coming from them. :)

Well, we had our PacNW Centralia meet yesterday, and I made a couple of short, fast pulls, and ask a little more from the K Sports than previously. Very happy with their performance so far! Very little pedal pressure necessary to haul the Supra back down to legal speed, and no fade or pulsation, even after repeated applications. Pads are pretty dusty though, but it's a reasonable trade-off!:icon_razz
So far, so good!:icon_bigg
