Another ?? about wheels! Great Deal!!

Let me just start by saying I know!!! Search!! I have read alot about what sizes people have just haven't seen anything like these.. I should just keep the sawblades but.. These are ok.. Here it is..

Racing Hart
Rear- 19x10 offset 43 w/Michelin Pilot 275/30/19
Front-19x8.5 off 39 Pilot 245/35/19

Will these fit on my 89 MK3?
The guy wants $500 for the set. 1 wheel has a small dent but can be fixed!

Aren't 30 series sidewall really small? Anyways I think they would fit, maybe a slight fender roll?

i would never go 19's ....
i think 17's is as big as i will go.

I am going to try and put them on later this week. I am definetly willing to roll the fenders..

I am doing a rebuild and shooting for the mid 500rwhp, shouldn't be problem turning them over..

I am looking for an honest and proven reason why it's not a good Idea.. Not just opinions!! I had only planned on going 18's but It's hard to pass these up for $500 with 95% tread if they will fit!!

thats a deal, but i dont think they are right for the mk3 with that offset, but i could be wrong, im no tire/rim expert.

Tell u the turth BUY THEM, then SELL THEM for a higher price on ebay or something then get some 18's and your set.

Maybe the front offset! But not the rears.. I know I have seen someone with 18's and pretty close to that offset.. I have considered buying them and reselling to make a few bucks.. They were on a MK4..

Still curious if they would fit.. Not sure of all your setup's. I am on a stock CT 12lbs and when I get around 5,000 rpm's the rear just breaks loose.. How about yours? It feels so awesome... I love my car!!

And besides, another opinion that I think most of the community will second, 19's are just too big for our cars!

Personally I think 17 fit perfect. 18 kinda is stretching it IMO.

19s will hve no meat on the tires and you will regret it IMHO. Thats why he is selling them I bet.

Yeah I realize there aren't ideal for power but I like the way 19's look personally. If I ever end up at the track then I would go 17's but until I get there I want to look good

That's kind of my point.. It's a daily driver and might look pretty good with 19's.. If I get them on I will take a few pics and post them..

They should fit perfect. I have 19x8 +20 in the front with 245/35 and 19x9.5 +35 with 275/30 in the back and they fit perfect. With 245 in the front, fender needs to be rolled, but with 235, it should be fine.

Your offsets are a little more, so it should be just fine. You shouldn't have to roll the fenders.

Sell them to me if you don't want them.... :naughty:

Wow. So much misinformation in this thread. I have to get to work, otherwise I'd go through my wheel rant, otherwise you can just do a search on socalsupras. I've posted the formula quite a few times.

Couple of points:

* stock 16x7 sawblades or 5-spoke are pretty close to +50 offset

* everybody loves Dan Matoba's car and Sofro's... both sporting 19's
