i was searching around and coulnt find what i was looking for
i dont know if anyone has made these or not
aluminum splash guards (under body pannels)
i wanted some for the very front of the car to kind of seal up the front end.
just a flat panel in the shape of the front end that would bolt up to the front bumper cover so air cant go anywhere but strait through the radiator.
i figure this will help with cooling issues and stabalize the front end a lil more aerodynamicly
if no one has made these then ill start, just trying to get a feel for what you guys think

If you go through and make a metal undercover, it must have louvres.
My 944 had one when i bought it and it was simply a sloshing oil/debris tray... i left it at my last house when i moved lol

BTW Mk3 Supras get plastic undercovers stock.

im down for a flat aluminum or cf composite undertray.

with an effective front lip and a properly set up spoiler it should GREATLY increase downforce (or at least minimize lift) :)

I don't like the idea of aluminum engine undercover. I know that heat rises and some may think it won't matter. But I think it's just going to trap/reflect heat. Not to mention noise. Otherwise, I would have made one already. Just my $.02 :)

I think it'll be a great idea. I've thought about making one after seeing how the new Nissan GTR has the under body covered for aerodynamics and cooling and even having the well wheel covers vented to cool down brakes. I think it'll be good. Maybe you should have it vented also to get rid of heat.

I wonder if MotionMotorsports would make one for us? Yeah, probably not. There's not nearly as much of a following for the ma70 as there is for the e36. I've got one of these on my M3:

Sturdy aluminum, lightweight, uses SS hardware, no noises, mounts are SOLID and tied into the framerails in front. It tightens up the lip, and fender liners (as the stock fender liners/lip are held in place securely by the stock piece of crap plastic undercover.)

It's a great piece, and I'd love to see one made for the MKIII, but as always, it's money that does the talking, not interest.;) I've spoken with Corey a lot, and they're real cool guys...

What I did was cut a card board template that extended from the front bumper and to the back of the front suabframe it attached to the front lip same as the factory under tray it Instead of aluminium I used Puckboard (think hockey rink siding) tough enough not to make any noise at speed but light and cheap Ill post some pics tomorrow
