BUY MY WHEELS THEY COME WITH RUBBER!
I have some 17x8 and 17x9 Sparco Racing wheels with kuhmo ecta rubber FS.
The rear tires are almost done but the fronts are good..

$800 come and get them in stillwater.
Or i will trade for shine bomex sides rear add ons and whale tail wing..
A 89+ bumper and tails or a bucket race seat/s with sliders and rails.

I am starting a software project that may be used for tuning our cars, and other cars in general. The thread is located here:

As a summary, I'm looking for some people who have an engine management system (either MegaSquirtII or GenBoard), and/or are a tuner/performance shop, who would like better software to help then visualize the engine data in real time in order to make tuning easy, fast and precise. I hope to get the software out by end December, and ofcourse they'd get a free copy,

Car ran 13.7 @ 14 psi with street tires. Traps @ 117 mph. Maybe 400WHP @ 14 psi. Crank up the boost and you got a 700+WHP Mk3.

burn or leak? DO you see smoke @ idle?

Leaks a little, but that looks like one of those little cracking hoses that has never been replaced. My main problem is the huge cloud of burning oil it unleashes at idle form the tailpipe. I just need a way to see if it's the turbo or some other part of the engine.

Bring it over and i'll do compression and leak down tests to find out if your internals are good.

Sometimes you can tell if the turbo seal is bad by looking for oil in the intake piping.

Alright, well my car is wrapped up for the winter, and I'm at St. Cloud State University, and my car is in Stillwater, MN. Is there a weekend or some time that would work for you, so I can come down from campus?

It is less likely for oil to leak out the intake side than the exhaust side, but not impossibe. Oil coming from the PCV system (blowby from piston rings) usually happens at higher RPM under load.

Burning oil at idle (high vacuum) usually is from faulty valve seals or worn valve guides.

I just need a way to see if it's the turbo or some other part of the engine.

Thus the compression test and leak down test.
