Was wondering if anyone has had this issue.. recently car has started to run rich under boost. Just a random occurace.. no changes to sfac2..
I swapped the air temp sensor with one from a 2j. The problem was fixed.. so I added fuel back in to the curve (I took some out trying to fix the rich issue).. car ran fine for a couple days and now the rich run issue has returned. So not wanting to try to pull fuel again due to fear of issue fixing itslef as random as it started, don't want to damage motor with lean conditin

So can this be the ecu starting to fail.. I have a map sensor I can also swap of a 2j but I really don't think its the map. Sorry for sloppy post sent from my phone.
And the motor is a 1j with single turbo 264 cams

Little more info on mods would be good, like fuel system, injector size, fuel pump, and so on:)

Open up your ecu and look at all the capacitor's on both sides of the board.
If you know some one with a good working ecu then you can test yours that way too or send it in to driftmotions and have piece of mind that its all good

in tank255, jdm 440s, as far as mods. thats it. single turbo fmic the car runs just fine. but under boost.. their is no break up pulls smooth . just rich. . it is prob the ecu. i have also noticed that i no longer get codes to turn on any more. but if i ck them their is like 7 of them ..lol them and rest the computer ill see if th elight triggers.
the car is coming in to the garage this next week to swap to a bigger turbo. i will pull the ecu out and let you know what i find.

on that note..does any one know where i can buy the capsitors t do this fix myself?

Turns out the problem was a bad wire in the loom going to water temp sensor. Replaced it and all is good now.. thanks
