Air Conditioner Problem

The fan not operating will only prevent the A/C from getting cold when the car is sitting still. Other than that, the A/C should blow cold as long as the car is moving. It sounds like a leak in the system, but there is enough freon left so the cycle switch allows the compressor to kick on.

Update: I was able to get my hands on 2 cans or r12. After charging the system I now have ice cold air coming thru the vents.

One thing I noted, with ambient temps near 90F and AC on, my coolent temps topped at 99C. This is during normal cruise and some stop and go traffic. Car has new oem radiator and clutch fan. Not sure if an aftermarket radiator will help reduce temps down to a safer temperature level.

I didnt see this posted so dont flame me for it. But the Pusher fan in front of the condensor is on Turbo's with A/T only its in the TSRM
