little back ground on my car
88turbo 5sp with about 94kmiles boosting 14psi exhaust,Intake,TurboXS BOV

______________PROBLEM________________

when i start the car the rpm goes up and down between 300-700 like it wants to die but doesnt
A few seconds of this it shoots up to 2,000RPM and the oil pressure goes up to alil under 40psi I dunno why it acts like it wants to die for a few seconds then she fine after the oil pressure goes up
____________________________________________________________

It warms up just fine and she drives with any problems
the car has OIL!! there's no coolant mixture either!! NO SMOKE

i live in miami it's not really hot or cold right now.. So im using 10w30 oil i have no check engine light and no oil leaks the dip stick says i have oil [im thinking my oil pump is going bad]..... or is it something else???

ISC sticking/dirty?? Can't hurt to pop it off and clean it, need a gasket though.

I would almost guarantee oil has nothing to do with this.

its the one on the intake manifold that has a hose going to the air filter/pre turbo. this is only a educated guess, i'm sure it could be many other things. good luck.

Look at this for the coolant hose routing:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=CO&P=2

Hose starts at the hard line that goes around the block, drivers side rear of the motor--->TB--->ISCV--->fitting on the bottom if the lower intake manifold, under the #2 runner.

You likely have a vac leak...check this:
Block off the hose that runs from the accordion hose to the ISCV so no air can pass while the car is running. If it dies, you don't have a leak...if it keeps running, you do ;)

^^^ Correct...thanks! That can just be blocked off at the TB before you start the engine.
