AEM true boost guage

I'll see if I can write a review but someone like Aarom can probably write a more detailed review as he is more familiar with how it really works. All I know is its scalable, you can set 2 deifferent boost levels, adjust led bar and digital display how ever you want it, comes with 2 sets of bezels and face colors, and seems to be a great overall unit but I have nothing to compare it with.

But for the price, you get both a Boost Controller, and Boost Gauge with awsome displays in one single unit. A+

I worked out a little better pricing on these with my distributor today and I will do them for $280 shipped (in the US). I'll give you the same price HID Planet.

The MSRP is $411, but even AEM is selling them on their website for $345.:dunno:

People will buy from whoever they like, group buy or not. I myself don't always look for the cheapest place to buy, i buy the company or person, not the product. This forum is set up to allow anyone to sell anything to anyone at anytime. There is like 20 some people on here all selling stuff or services for the Supra. How can any one person take business away from another? It is the buyer who chooses where to buy. We should just have a section in the wanted to buy where all the vendors can bid on the sale of a product to anyone looking for a certain product.

Why take business away from DriftMotion?
Id pay a little extra just to help them out and keep them in business. :nono:
Without them, there would be many unhappy supra owners.

i agree. that was a bitch move for $10
and with everything that went down with the shirts i cant believe anyone would even consider buying anything from ideal. this is just low down to try to take money away from someone just to try and prove something.

are you kidding? FIRST of all...ive said it once and ill say it again.... i did NOTHING wrong with the shirt deal except for maybe not having 100% communication 100% of the times people wanted it.... and i apologized for that. having something that is fully custom and has 100 different options available for the 300 people who ordered is not the easiest thing to get done or keep track of..... until YOU or anyone else does it i dont think you have ANY ground to stand on to speak of it.

the BOTTOM line with that deal is EVERYONE got what they wanted AND MORE (i gave away about $500 dollars in merchandise to make people happy) and everyone was happy in the end with the quality product produced. i could have easily put the design at cafepress and let them deal with everything but their shirt quality is shitty and i didnt want to do that. you act like all ive ever done was show up one day and do the shirt deal and leave..... i do more to help this community then anyone will ever know and i ask nothing of it.... ask rakkasan who wanted me to help with his 1j swap to get it done in a week and i told him i would and he asked me how much and i said dont worry about it and he MADE me take money from him..... i could go on and on about all the people i have helped and dont ask anything from.... hey why not ask drjonez (a guy who has a thread on his site about what a bad guy i am) about how i sent him a part he needed for free including me paying for shipping (granted it wasnt much but the point remains i did even though i am berated on his site).

im so sick and tired of any time i try to do something, the shirt deal comes up.... ill make you a deal if you find me ONE person who isnt happy with the quality of those shirts and hoodies and didnt get what they wanted and more in the end of everything.... and ill stop selling things period. i say that with confidence because you wont find ANYONE.

its really sad that for everything i have done nationally and locally for this community people love to bring that up...even though AGAIN it really isnt that much of a blemish. no one lost their money no one didnt get their product and then some. the only thing "lost" was time. and i would have that happen then produce a shitty product that no one is happy with.

as for THIS .... this is not an attempt to take business from aaron at ALL. and even he knows that. this is simply me offering a product to the community at a discounted price from ANYWHERE on the internet. it is also an attempt to get a little product to business name time so people in the future will recognize the name ideal performance...just like people do with aaron and driftmotion. and LAST time i checked...a business offering a product cheaper isnt dirty...its business.... do you always go to the more expensive gas station because you think the other guy is being a bitch and stealing business? RIIIIIIGHT....

i have NOTHING to prove to ANYONE...especially anyone who thinks im anything but a help and asset to this community. when you have done something for this community as a whole at your OWN expense....then you can come talk to me....when youve done it NUMEROUS times over and over again...then you might be able to have an opinion about me.

im sorry about the rant but that statement was 100% absolutely ridiculous.

i understand business. but in a few posts in the thread it looked like you were trying to put aaron down. then you start a group buy and post in the thread again about your group buy for $10 less than what aaron offered it for. looked like a low cut hey come by from me instead because i can save you a few dollars and get my business going. now, your group buy on the mc brace i think thats great. but what if i came on that thread and tried to start my own group buy on them for $5 less? would you feel the same way?

ok, bringing up the shirts might have been a little low. im glad everyone is finally happy.

but you are right, ive never contributed to the community at all. all i have done is take up space over the past few years so i have no room to expression my opinion.

as far as the gb goes.... the only reason i did these was because it seemed it was a newer product and everyone was interested in them...it had nothing to do with aaron... i talk to aaron a lot i have nothing but respect for him and driftmotion.... i am even lobbying for him to get his own vendors section.... the gb was simply to present a product to the community at a lower price then anywhere else...i thought thats what group buys were for? as for the bmcb group buy...if you or anyone else wants to take the initiative to do them up...by all means go for it.... i will say to run a gb for the same product at the same time is kinda messed up...BUT aaron isnt running a gb on the aem product...he simply offers them. but for someone else to have the same product is fine by me. makes me work harder.

as for the shirts im glad you understand where im coming from finally. and obviously i know who you are from being around for so many years...and i know you have helped a lot of people...including myself i believe at one point whereas im pretty sure ive helped you a few times.... i didnt mean it to sound like you have done NOTHING.... i just get so riled up and upset and frustrated when i do nothing wrong and someone attacks me with the shirt thing because it makes no sense to me.

i apologize for the personal attacks if you took them that way.....i just hate being attacked for something that really isnt anywhere near as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. no one got scammed or didnt get what they ordered. i gave away a lot of money in products to make people happy. the only thing lost was time ...and believe me its not as easy as you think. notice how TTT does ONE item of clothing at a time? hes smart because to offer 10 different colors 3 different logos 5 different sizes and two different mediums (shirts and hoodies) to 300 different people can be VERY hectic and problems can arise. like i have said before i would rather it take longer then people not get what they want and of good quality.

anyways i think thats enough ranting..i just hope ive made my point and you understand where im coming from.....

These can be purchased on e-bay for 260 shipped from one guy and 265.00 shipped from another. Thats the best price I have seen for these.

HAHAHA. That was the perfect time to post this. Right in the middle of this battle, "Oh hey guys I found them for even cheaper over here, screw the supramania price wars." Thats awesome. :icon_bigg

I didn't post that to add to some price war, I just added this to show what the cheapest i could find was. Like I said in my earlier post, I don't shop for a price, I shop the reputation and the person I purchase from. Just because these can be purchased on e-bay for 20 less dollars does not mean that Aaron or Ideals price is bad either. I would buy from either one of them before th e-bay guy. Ideal, finish the group buy anyway. ANYone could have found the e-bay ones if they would only look, but maybe the buyers you have just want them from you. I can't think of a group buy that we have had (for an off the shelf product) that could not be purchase for at least 10% less somewhere else. The AEM Uego's, The cam gears, these tru-boost gauges, all of these could have been purchased for 20 to 40.00 less dollars on e-bay. So why don't most of the members then? I think they want to buy from who they know and not the cheapest price. Lets support each other.

but i will be in the market next for a wideband, boost gauge/controller, injectors, fuel pump, fpr, maft pro-set up... but pretty much... it's just timing... I have the money, but I need to focuse on other things right now :-/

Probably wondering why I havent pitched into the GB yet. Two reasons......my pay pal STILL doesnt work, those A-holes dont want me as a customer I guess. Secondly, I have an appointment with Randy at BIC performance next wednesday to get my DDP put in so thats a big chunk out of my wallet. I say wait a month or two till more people hear about this and learn more about this unknown product.
