Finally got the harness extended.. Now I just need to wire up the MA7 connectors. I can just cut out every connector related to the twin turbo system right? No use for that now? :D

Haha, a LITTLE competion.. :evil2: I'm messing with the body connectors now. :1zhelp: And I cant find any wires on the MA7 plugs to join with the diagnosis wires from the Aristo plug. I would like to have the option of checking engine codes, if thats possible. Can anyone help me out? :icon_bigg

Hmm, i think most people skips the diagnostic reading when swapping engine, and if you go with Aem ems after a while, it's easy to connect and read the different sensor values. I dont have diagnostic test on mine, so cant help you there... But when you now have taken your engine appart, and getting to know it, it's not that mutch that can go wrong that you wouldnt understand what is. Its not that advance:icon_bigg

I've been researching a little for the wiring and come up with what i think should work. I would appreciate if some of you could look at my excel file and see if there is something wrong with my wiring. Easier to fix wrong wiring now that i have my harness out of the car :icon_bigg I'm also waiting on more parts from driftmotion. hehe I have 88 plugs. :)

Finally a real update :naughty: the 7M-GTE is out. I had to wait for warmer temperature.. So the old engine is out and ready to be sent to storage. Maybe I will put it in a ma61 next year or something. I got a package here the other day from Driftmotion. Clutch, bellhousing, flywheel and some other goodies. I will be working a lot to get the car ready in the easter holiday. so more updates will come in two weeks. :icon_bigg

Welcome to the 2jz mk3 club....:biglaugh:
Nice job! Is that an ACT Single disc clutch?

As about wiring the 2jz aristo and your diagnosis issue:
You should only take the pin 6 on the E10 (TCCS ecu plug) and connect
it to the (MA70) M1 (89-92 dark grey plug) pin 9 ...
or to M1 (87-88 yellow plug) pin 8. I think it is the GR-G (grey-green) wire.

Now you will have a diagnosis system for the 2jz motor and the check
engine light will be functioning.

There are some other systems that the 2jz engine (aristo / mk4 supra)
use and are connected to the diagnosis system. These system are not
used with the mk3 supra. And we are going to lose them anyway....
But nothing to lose actualy....:sarcasm:
Systems like...Traction control ecu,Sub-throttle ecu,Fuel pump ecu,Auto-
trans ecu (you go R154...like I did :biglaugh:),ABS ECU (Aristo ABS.we keep our mk3 ABS ecu and system...so no problem here either),and other stuff
that are useless to our car/swap!

So..all the other engine systems will be ok with the diagnosis system that
come from the E9 (TCCS ECU) plug!

Hope I helped!

Time for updates.

I have been driving the car a little now, and suddenly it didnt want to stay running. The engine did not like the FIC very much... :p

So I got this in the mail today, and the car will be mapped on the 17th of July.

With the driftmotion bellhousing does any modification need to be done for trans mount or its shifter placement? Also, how does the engine bolt to the car vs. stock mounts?

With the BIC engine mounts, everything is bolt on. :) I had no fitment issues at all. No modification is need unless your still using stock turbos. But in some cases you wont even have troubles with the turbos.

Hope this helps. :)
