Why settle for the SC6162? for the response and power you posted about, I thought you would be looking at the pte5757 or the BWs259 with the .xxAR T3 turbine housing. When i had the BW360 on the 1JZ for a brief time, it was highly responsive and made power from 3700 all the way to my 7800 rpm redline. The 1JZ need cams and additional RPMs to really shine.

So the SC5757 can make the power and respond more, I changed my mind then.

Sorry, I meant to say the PT5858. I think it comes with the billet compressor wheel too.

Any difference between the sc5858 and sc5757 as far as spool up?

I know the 5858 has that "billet wheel" tech, i'm not too sure about the 5757 though. Keep in mind too that the 5757 is rated for 540fwhp *approx 459whp max*, and the 5858 is rated for 620fwhp *Approx 527whp max*. If you search the other forum, there are a few guys who road race with those small turbos (with 2JZs ofcourse). Just subtract about 700rpm of spool and you should be in the ballpark. Keep in mind that every number figure I gave you is a rough estimation and not to be taken as law.
