A/C troubles

well my original plan for the supra not to have ac is no longer a plan, i would like to get my ac working because i DD my car...And since its only an NA, i dont care about the loss of HP

first off, this is the right way your ac should be set up

notice how the dehydrator is on the right, for some reason, mine is on the left

and there is also an open line further down....now is there a line where it goes in-between the dehydrator and the open line, like so? And there seems to not be another fill line( i think the high pressure fill)

and there is a plug on my compressor that is off, idk where it goes but here is a picture of it

any help can be great...i have a source of R12 and i would get a shop to flush the system and put the R12 in, so my only job is to figure out the lines

that is odd how the tsrm shows the receiver dryer on the other side, because mine is the same as yours, and you are correct with the line, there is a line with a shradder valve port on it that goes from that lower tube to the top of the receiver dryer. How long has the system been open like that?

and is there a part number for that line?

The TSRM is for 90+ Supras.

Your Supra seems to be an early one.

My 87's had the dryer on that side, and my 90 has it on the other side, like the pic.

That plug wire is for the AC clutch, and it plugs into the ac relay and shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Ever hear of exploring the EPC? Surprising what you'll find in there.

But it may be discontinued and you may need to just run and get an auto parts store one.

The plug for the AC is behind the battery BTW.

Yes, but that's not the full part number.

If you click on that number in the EPC it will pull up the real part number. I seriously doubt it's still made as I had to by a condenser and new softlines from aftermarket companies as they are no longer available from the dealer (bummer).
