i know but most of them are really. i just had to fill a pod on my pillar lol

Just those light show gauges are pointless. You need something like an AEM wideband, or Innovative because they actually work and are very accurate.

so tested the egr valve and it stuck open but not all the way. gonna take it off and go from there. ive read that it isnt good to remove the egr unless you have a japanese ecu. is this right?

so i unplugged cyl 6 and made no change. egr? yep. took a vacume tester to the egr up to 25 pounds of vacume and no change. obviously is stuck open. turned the vacume tester to pressure and popped the egr closed. POP! car runs great. gonna leave it unhooked for now. any recomondations? :) i would love to get rid of the egr

so car runs like new finally and im lovin it. 10 psi now as apposed to when i got it is awesome. hits 5 psi like nothin and awesome power curve. i was scheptical about runnin 3 inch pipe from the intercooler to intake but it seems to spool faster and i like the feel. BTW i took off the EGR and cleaned it and works awesome. Since the car is stable now i will leave the engine as is. so now its onto my custom lip kit and body stuff i just painted the hood and will post pics. leavin it the way it is cuz i have my first kid on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and might have to get the woman to the hospital in a hurry. what better way than a supra lol............ two girls are hers but i love em but this is my FIRST! :)

You can get some block off plates and just take the EGR off, that's what I did on my first supra. The supra that I currently have still has the EGR but I also just have it unhooked for now.

well i have done alot of homework and from what i have gathered the exhaust temp differences are greatly cooler with egr. since the turbo is spooled by exhaust i figure i should keep the egr lol

Whoa i just had the same problem, this is freaky. but i took out my whole motor and stripped it. Also had a main bearing failure in the center. I'm going to buy a new egr valve doesn't seem to be any advantage in deleting it as when your on power it cancels it out any way.
