Any ideas on what your gonna do for the widebody? Are you gonna make your own? Forgot to mention, the engine looks great.

I have some ideas for the design and I have the materials to make my own kit, either out of fiberglass or carbon fiber. I really love the s2 style so I would pretty much replicate that if I can't get the actual kit..

By the way, I'm looking for the coil pack cover if anybody has one for sale.. my front clip didn't come with one.

I started it up today to make sure the transmission works and all the wiring was done correctly.. got the radiator and all fluids in.. the tach and thermostat work, but the oil pressure gauge doesn't.. I have a brand new oil pressure sender, I'm not sure what could be the problem.. but it's late and I'm tired so I'll check it out tomorrow..

Anybody else have this problem? Is there something I could be missing?

I'm also still looking for a vacuum diagram.. I wasn't really paying attention to the vacuum lines when I pulled the engine out of the front clip and I thought it would be obvious... but it's not.. There are three vacuum lines on the side of the intake manifold that are not in use at the moment..

I'd like to share something with everybody here about polishing. After installing my Driftmotion intercooler kit, I noticed that the polish on the aluminum isn't quite as good as the rest of my engine parts.. and in an attempt to half-ass polish it to make it look a LITTLE better I decided to try a product by Mothers called "scratch removing polish". Now, this is meant to be used with a powerball, but being lazy, I just put a little on a rag and rub it down manually. I must say: the results are quite impressive. This product is perfect for anybody with no aluminum polishing experience and would like to really bring out the depth and shine in their already partly polished parts such as intake kits and intercooler kits. Here are some pics of the difference it made. I did not have to do any sanding at all, all I did was rub it in, and wipe it off.. only took a couple minutes. The single pipe shown off the car is polished on one half and only cleaned on the other half. You can see a difference in the depth and reflection. It really is a huge difference, especially when you see it in person. Hope this helps somebody out.

Ok.. I took it out again today now that I have light.. all the gauges work.. But I have one problem: I am boosting WAAAY too much.. I haven't taken it into 5th gear yet, but anytime I hit boost in 4th or any other gear, the wheels just spin out of control.. I have the stock boost gauge right now so I am unsure of how much I'm boosting because it shoots up way passed 8+..

I have no boost controller or aftermarket boost gauge.. What could cause so much boost? I mean, don't get me wrong, it feels AMAZING! .. but I can't have that for my daily driver... Could I have hooked up a vacuum line wrong or something?? Why is it boosting so high?? The guy I bought the front clip from said the ECU was "modded".. I don't know about that..
