Being there's a banjo bolt on the cold start injection port how to you test the fuel pressure with the type of guage I have? Or is there a different guage to use?

on the rail, you should be able to screw the tester into the port once its off. you dont test thru the csi hose. the banjo is right beside the tb, shouldnt be to hard to get to

Las Vegas NV.
My test gauge has a banjo bolt with a quick connect fitting on the top of it to connect the FP gauge too. So when its hooked up the CSI is still hooked up. Its a kit with about 100 different sizes/fittings. Its just a banjo with a fitting on top. They are all different.

They're also a huge waste of money...

That they are. The last 7MGE I saw run rich, black smoke and all, it had the airflow meter tampered with. The owner loosened the spring on the door because he read it on the internet.

Ok well the update on the car is that once I set the fuel pressure to 40 it acted like it wasn't getting gas. It would stutter and wouldn't go over 1200rpm. The reason I set it to 40 was because once you start driving and the gas is pumping through it drops a hair. But like I said it ws acting like it wasn't getting gas so I set it to 45 and it ran fine just a little rich.

Do you all think it would be the injectors or maybe the throttle position sensor or what???

Please help me on this cause I'm running out of things to check. All help is very much appreciated.

No. I really think they are a waste of money, in a certain way. Although I was thinking of many spark plug ads that claim power gains. BS.

Oh well, in that case you're 100% correct. Except for oil there's no greater scam perpetrated upon the automotive public than ignition components. I was referring to other characteristics of precious metal electrodes that are worth the expense.

Well like I said I checked dizzy, timing, tps, coil, I have all new plugs wires dizzy cap and rotor bug and the wires have the right resistance and all plugs are gapped correctly. All vacuums are legit brand new 2.5 inch exhaust with cat gutted out. The only ohm resistance I haven't checked would be on the injectors. And I haven't checked the fuel pump but if it's running rich than I don't think it would be that.

So what else could it be???

I've also checked the amf and it checks out.

But please guys let me know what you think it might be so I can check it if I haven't already cause obviously I'm a noob to supras and Toyota in general.

I don't know anyone that has a supra around here I have the only one that's on the road within 100 miles that I know of. And I don't want to just start buying parts and that not be the problem.

Has anyone had these problems before or what could it be???

I just don't want to spend $1000 in parts and not fix the problem.
