Powerglides are the most common auto used. They hold tons of power and are super small and light.
Yes they are 2 speed, but all 350/400/pg are 1:1 in highest gear.

Highest HP Trannies offered by ATI Racing
350- 850hp
400- 2000hp
PG- 3500hp+

Farkk they hold quite alot!! well ty lots for your information . I have alot of workmates who always talks bad about auto like they're reading a hot4 magazine and 'Aww it's auto what a PITA' But I suppose you get more respect if you can pull of good times with a manual. But for simplicity what's so bad about auto :naughty:

Manuals are usually very inconsistent. So if your bracket racing it's not very fun.

Buying a 1800hp powerglide $3400
Partially building a resellable powerglide that will hold more then a fully modded a340 would stock.
Plus I can get the adapter plate, shift linkage, tranny mount, torque converter and driveshaft all knocked out on my list.
Total cost on building that tranny with the Trans brake and deep pan I ordered would be $500 fully rebuilt by me.
And $40 for a spare Trans is worth it IMO

Well thats what you get with a 2 speed lol
2 clutch packs and a band. Small and simple, I carry mine to the couch to play mw3 to build when Alberts playing lol
