For some reason I totally missed this thread..... :nono:

WOW very nice so far Steven well done!

Only 2 things I see are

1: you port matched the exhaust ports to the header?

2: Albert: you're not serious that Adjustable Cam pullies are useless are you?

1: Did you port matched the exhaust ports to the header?

Yes it will be, once my friend builds my manifold. The flange is matched up very well already.

Thanks IJ!

Have time to post updates. Have gotten a lot of motivation then just failed again. Finally got my shimless buckets to wrap up my head. Stil waiting for my spacers from rich as well as my replacement cam gear from Titan.

After install decided to do a leak down before I put everything together, come to find out all my intake valves are leaking as well as 3 sets of exhaust. FML so bad, right when I finally have everything to wrap up my never ending head/money pit. Someone's getting a nice call tomorrow.

On to actual productivity. Picked up 2 powerglides for $140

Little bit of work and they will be back to new again. These arent going to be the trannys I'm using, more of being able to buy the adapter plate, make tranny mount, driveshaft, shift linkage, cooler routing, and what ever random things come up. Will wrap up a alot before I shell out the $3500 for tranny and converter I need.

Some presents from Transtar came, full rebuild kit with bushings $80

All ripped apart and ready for cleaning/rebuild

More to come with that once my special goodies come in as well as washing the case tomorrow.

Tore down my rear subframe in prep for the new bushings. Cleaning, painting, new wheel bearing/seals, and spherical bearings, as well as possible rear bbk.

Works better on 7M's to leave the port slightly smaller than the header, the step acts as a reversion dam.

Who built the head?

The flange is slightly over size right now.

A local shop here did the port & polish. He then had it send to another "big" machine shop for the valve job & adjustment.

Powerglides are the most common auto used. They hold tons of power and are super small and light.
Yes they are 2 speed, but all 350/400/pg are 1:1 in highest gear.

Highest HP Trannies offered by ATI Racing
350- 850hp
400- 2000hp
PG- 3500hp+
