The first attempt didn't work...

I'm working with him on a new cam pickup setup, crank pickup. The fuel rail I made him is going in along with the big injectors and fuel pumps... Got the direct port nitrous fittings installed into the manifold. Also working out the design on the turbo return line, so when it does start it can idle longer than 5 seconds at a time.

A LOT of work is still needed to get done and like Steven said it's prioritized on when he has the time to do stuff.

Patience, maybe by the end of the year he can get a video of start up and idle and a good walk around.

Well I guess it's time for a reply. Cars constantly taking 3 steps forward and 10 back. But so far the last couple weeks have been forward.

Had a small garage fire, and ended up getting rid of the old body as it would have been time and cost effective. Picked up a straight 87 for $400





Pulled all the frames to swap over


Now my old 87 was a garage mantelpiece


New car






The stripping begins






Started cutting some spot welds to make the body look better




Started pulling battery tray






Cut unnecessary stuff off the cross bar which will be replaced when the cage is made


Cleaned the whole bay, was probably the worst one I've seen you can compare it to the sub frame
