:1zhelp:

hey guys, I've been working on this conversion for like a year and a half, haven't had time to finish it until now.

I got the tranny bolted up, pressure plate bolted on, master and slave cylinder hooked up, starter on, wiring all done and hooked up...

I got to the driveshaft and its kinda weird, I put the sleeve yoke of the driveshaft onto the output end of the tranny... slides on fine,

but I bolted on the center berring and the flange yoke onto the diff and there is like a 1 1/2" gap where the sleeve yoke is visible, but still firmly attached to the tranny... is that normal?

or do i have a wrong driveshaft? it doesn't leak or anything i'm just a little concerned its wrong???

Also since it hasn't been ran for almost 2 years, what should i do before I start it up?

1. Change oil
2. Drian old gas, put new in with an octane booster

anything else?

yaa I did, i had them side by side (the auto and manual driveshafts) and i couldn't see a differance, so i tried sliding each of the yolks onto the tranny and only one would go on... so i used that one

i dont think the auto would go on, cause they have a different amount of splines right?

did you swap driveshafts to a manual one?

Your best bet is to find a Supra guy who lives in your area and know how to do the conversion. That way you will feel confident that it is done right and also it will be done alot faster.
