is it the injectors that need the resistor pack or the ecu? i think it is the injectors, not sure though??? what year are the injectors/resitor?

the ealy mk3 NA had low impedance injectors, the later ones used high.(or vice/versa) so if you had the appropiate restor pack/injectors i think it would be allright, that is if the ecu doesn't play a role:confused:

sorry man i cant remember the colours or if cressida's are different..but if this helps my car is a 86.5 7m-ge (86.5-88 7M-GE) and it has the same injector resistor pack as the the 7M-GTE all years if i remember, i know cause when I went na-t i bought a gte one, same PN as i took off my car:icon_mad: hope that helps.

hmmmm wil have a look tonight as I recall when the person dropped off the engine he gave me what look like a resistor pack..

I went with GTE electronics on my NA for about a month. Flows the max amount of air the motor can pull in since the system is set up for forced induction. ran fine except for the HAC( high altitude compensator) code i got. Pulled one from a wrecking yard and i was good to go. O and second knock sensor hole has to be drilled and tapped too. gotta remove the starter if the motor is in the car. After a month i decided to go full NA-T and i tell ya its literally night and day from turbo to na. And also so far to my knowledge with me being in Cali im the onyl one to get an NA-T swap smog legal. Not an easy or fun task mind you but its done... Any Questions or anythin like that feel free to PM me and ill be glad to provide any info possible.

gonna splice at the knock sensor end........ and swap injector plugs as GTE wont plug onto GE injectors also "clean" up loom put it on engine take off sump check to make sure pump ok then reseal sump attach flywheel pressure plate and shes ready to bolt in :)

I tried splicing at that end for ease, but it threw the code, might of been my connections. did it at the harness end and was al good.good luck

buy a turbo pan and use the oil cooler drain or remove the one cap witch is held by 2 nuts remove block off plat wedl on fitign dumps into pan
