7M Sound?

Here is a dumb question... is there enough metal in the 7m block to bore it to oversquare? not that it would be a good idea, just curious

Head design is going to make a fairly large difference, too.
I think most of you guys referring to the "2JZ" sound are talking about the higher pitched raspiness you generally hear from them.
Guess what? Build a 7M, go nuts on the valvetrain, get a tubular manifold and a big single and you'd be shocked how similar it'll likely sound.

I just made a video of my exhaust and I'm starting to fall in love with it. All I have is an RS-R cat-back and a couple of other minor mods(view sig). It sounded pretty good. Here's the video, does my engine sound healthy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VsYkbt6XBk&fmt=18

ive been told my hyper medallion is to quite. Buddy complains he hears the turbo spool even when im walking him on the highway over the exhaust (evo guys :crazy1 7m sounds like more grunt however a 2jz reving is pretty damn sexy. So freaking smooth...
personally a boxer motor sounds fucking sweet in my book... or a cammed 427 corvette (lingenfelter shop is across the alley at work) OR a turbo f40 (RUF dealership is next street over with some SICKKK European cars...) Porsche sounds good but when they pull out the Ferrari's, its time to put a rubber on to keep your pants clean..
