lol, titanic arms are ok with me. It's just a cruiser, no speedy driving with this one. Main reason I'm swapping to another suspension is to save some money. The stock suspension is pretty clapped out, and arcane to begin with, and parts for it are expensive. I can buy a prefabricated subframe kit that's ready to weld-on, but it's about $2800. Some guys where using camaro subframes, but I heard they don't fit very well. The supra subframe seems perfect so far, other than the lack of upper shock mounts.
I won't be using the rear subframe though, I already have a chevy S10 rear end that I plan to use. It's a pretty easy swap. The original rear will only work with the original transmission, so to swap in anything else I have to swap the rear end and get a normal driveshaft. Gonna stick with the solid axle back there for simplicity. I'd have to Z the frame to put the supra rear subframe back there because it would need about a 8 inch kick-up to sit level.
