What is up dude...is that the hood I sold you? Anyways shoot me a pm on what your machine work costed you....got me a street stomper block I am fixin to tear into. I will give you my 2 cents on staying stock, YOU WILL WANT MORE! Trust me, boost is nice. But looks good man. Keep us posted.

if you plan on eventualy making power you'll regret using those pistons..i know i did and im now redoing mine with probe pistons from DM if i dont go 2jz,but your build is looking good!

It's the plug at the very top...11432C

I have one of the plugs in as seen in this picture

The diagram is showing two of the same plug, but I don't see anywhere the second one would go. Thanks!

One goes just to the upper left of the turbo drain and the other goes at the very front of the block just above where the number stamp is (to the right of the oil filter) Also make sure that one at the back is tightened down and the identical one at the very front was installed or you will have no oil pressure and oil all over the floor!

BTW the gold core plugs are brass whereas OEM plugs are steel. Steel can rust out over time which is why a lot of people use brass. Just make sure they didnt use Dorman brand core plugs on your block, i have heard horror stories of them popping out, you can do a search on these forums and see for yourself. Only takes one overheat to kill an engine.

yea looks like the same diagram i got my parts numbers from..i think there's 11 total or so don't quote me on that its been almost a year now since my build.

Went out and made some progress today. Got the egr cooler on, upper intake mani, exhaust mani, lower timing cover and crank pulley, upper front timing color, rail and injectors, knock sensors and ran the harness some.

Next time I plan on getting the turbo on. Just got the intake mani support bracket. I'll put that on, get the turbo on and then possibly the throttle body, water neck and some of these dang sensors.

Looks sweet keep it up! Super clean lookin. Did you use an OEM gasket for your EGR cooler? If you didn't i recommend that you do a search on that, aftermarket style EGR cooler gaskets tend to blow out and create headache- near impossible to change it with the head on and engine in

It was just the gasket that came with the set. Do you think I should look at replacing it? It's an OEM type set I suppose??
