Tanya ,The car looks amazing. I've always loved the MKII, and the black is perfect.

If it runs as good as it looks, you're going to have a blast.

Just a small update.

Car initially had idling issues that I (and peeps on cs.com) could NOT figure it. It would idle fine when cold, then idle erratically when warm. ISC valve was good, TPS, was good, etc.

Also, car would throw codes under hard acceleration, the O2 sensor.

Well, last week I finally got my JDM ECU in (from a MZ12 Soarer with 6MGE) and immediately installed it. What do you know, no more erratic idle or check engine light. Yay!

Now I'm having issues with the clutch, because the top of my clutch pedal is not supported, the rest gets tweaked downward and my foot can be to the floor on the pedal but the car will roll if in 1st gear unless I am on the brake. I have been harassing my bf since April to make me a clutch pedal anchor, but he's been busy. but NOW it's becoming problematic, so I hope he can get it done before my damn pedal snaps or something! :icon_mad:

Also, the other day I did an oil change (although I didn't change the filter, couldn't get it off and don't have the right size wrench here) and I changed my spark plugs from the NGK platinums to standard NGKs and gapped them down to .035". Engine seems to like it a lot, accelerates SO smooth!

Now if I could just get my lazy ass in gear and re-torque my cam tower bolts (minor seeping already), and prep another 6M intake (paint) I can get my 235cc injectors ready to install. YAY.

Oh, guess I would like a spare AFM for that too...

Oh, guess I should mention the car was dyno'd some weeks back. Due to my retardedness, I did not dyno at WOT so the #s are low; 155whp and 175ft/lbs

lol, yeah deedeedee!

Will re-dyno again soon. My guess is 180hp 185ft/lbs. Everyone who's been in the car has said 180, and the car smokes all the n/a mk2s around here. Even one of the turbo mk2s here has a hard time catching up to my car.

Weeeeee! Not that anyone cares, but I'm getting some wheels finally!

They're not the best, but they're cheap. 15x7s that are curb rashed; they need refinishing and new paint but even so, they will look like sex on my car. SEX I TELLS YA!

They arrive early next week. I need 3 centercaps though, lol.

car looks great with those wheels :)

lol, the silver car isn't mine, it's the car the wheels are currently on. My car is black. I should have the wheels next week.
