You don't have nice boobs though ;)

How do you know that I have nice boobs? They could be mean and spiteful and poke your eye out if you don't say nice things to them :evil2:

Thanks guys. It feels good to now that I put this thing together, torqued everything down, put all the gaskets on and seals in and now here I am driving a knock/tap free, non leaking car. I was kind of expecting it to blow up on start-up, bc that's just my luck, heh.

The next day I was talking to my ex and told him that I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, and that I wasn't allowing myself to be too happy just yet.

Wouldn't you know, later on that night my fuel pump failed. Changed it with a Walbro on Saturday. I should be good to go now -knocks on wood-

get naked & boost a supra
i like your determination to get and keep your car running smoothly. i wish some of the supra owners i know personally were like that. for instance, a very nice 92 turbo, 5-speed, sunroof car with the charcoal leather has been sitting for over a year and a half. and the head has been lost somehow.

I can't begin to describe how hot it is to see a chick working on her car.

Bra-fucking-vo! Engine looks amazing, and great attention to details!

The blower motor never worked in the car, so just gave me an excuse to say fuck it all. The heater core and all the under-dash vents will be pulled out soon. The point is to be as light as possible so I can run the time I want to at the track :)

My defrost = cracking the window.

And when it's winter again you'll just drive around with a parka on? :)

::sigh::

no one seems to believe that someone can survive a winter with no heat in their car. I survived a winter in Attica, NY with my white '83, and guess what? NO HEAT. I made it through until February in my black car here, with NO HEAT. I think I'll be fine :D

Obviously, performance is more important to me than comfort... however, I will be keeping my comfy 8 way adjustable seats :D

Very nice Tanya looks like a great build. Why didn't you use the 7m head If you don't mind me asking, seems it would be better for performane?

Two words

THIS ROCKS!

Love the way you have kept the factory look, the 5/6M-GE valve covers are one of my favorite looking motors EVER, and yours is the neatest one I have ever seen. I used to own an MA-61 myself and am still a big fan of them.

I really despise the look of the 7M head. I hate the 7M valve covers, all of it. The 7M itself I don't hate, but I just don't think that head belongs under a mk2 hood.

How much hp does the 6M make stock?

That is actually unknown for certain. Many sites boast 190hp, but the 6M came at a time when Japan was switching between STD and NET hp measurements. My theory, the stock 6M puts out 175hp @ the crank.

But hopefully MY 6M will be a bit over 200 (at the crank) :)
