I think 935motorsports does it. I don't know if it was for 1jz or 2jz though. Where ever I saw it, it wasn't cheap. But, probably worth it though.

7M= great engine, but can have a lot of problems.
1JZ= easier swap than 2jz and it a blast to drive. Can take a lot of abuse
2JZ= harder swap, but hey, IT'S A 2JZ!!! :biglaugh: I've heard its the new cool thing to do. 1jz is so last year ;)

Weird, I thought 2JZ's were just as easy to install as a 1JZ.

I wonder if Dr. Tweak can make a harness for a 2J-GE into my MKII.

might as well go all out and go 2jz. they are just built better than the other two flat out. probaly the most OVER engineered engine i know of. and we all know how easy it is to bust out 500 hp on one. plus even at that power level you can still be on stock twins with awesome spool. btw i think it is 935 who can make a harness.

Its kind of hard to put all of the wiring into one harness. Some of the wires go to the dash and others go to other sections.... And are you using a 7m ECU? 2j ECU? Standalone?

I assume that you will be using a 2j ECU. If so you need to follow this website: http://www.supras.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=34&Itemid=50

The hardest part of the wiring is getting started. The website is hard to make sense of until you get into the wiring and start looking at it.

So in summary, you might just be better off using a 2j harness with ECU and splicing some of the few wires to the MA70 body

I think the 2JZ and 1JZ swap is almost the same in terms of ease/difficulty.

No way. Are you sure? ;)

p5150 is right, the hardest part is actually getting started. I hate wiring. Blah!

Dr. Tweak can pretty much do anything wiring related. I think for $500, he could splice together whatever harnesses you want.

www.phoenixtuning.com is his website and shows a bit of his work.

oh the 1jz and 2jz im sure they are the same to install minus the wiring...

then again it costs twice as much as the 1jz to install a 2jz...

with 2j you need pans and the mkiii's drivetrain with a mix of 1jz parts and then you need a way to get all of your gauges working :(

You should check out my build thread and the links posted in the first page. Its really not difficult to get all of that stuff together.

2JZ NA->T baby.

you are right it really isnt that difficult but it is costy Lol i think its more cost effective to go n/a 2jz to turbo vs 2jzgte to mkiiii, especially if you are like me and want to go single right off the bat. and 2jzge's are as low as 200$ and the average 2jzgte is $2100. front clips a few hundred more

at least my spark plug cover looks bitchin'

i love the colors too i always wanted to paint my car green
