Thank you. I think it will be a ton of work, but you know I have always wanted to have a FFIM and it took me a long time to even learn what " FFIM " even meant I hope it's Front Facing intake manifold lol..

But yes i will let you all know what is up with it, and like I said I got it for 52.00, they have so many and I can't believe it's this cheap i hope it's legit!

If it were me, I'd just go custom from the ground up.

I thought about it, but I would like to start somewhere, I do have a 7m lower intake manifold, so i will be able to make this work correctly.

If you can fab everyhting up and make it work then go for it. assuming you know everyhitng you need to do. throttle body, isc valve, tps, blah blah blah.
If not then Ron makes an insane manifold and comes with everthing you need. Pricey, but for the quality of work and plenty of write ups on installation - it's worth it in the end.

I would love to see you make it work, which seems like it would work out but if your not ready for everyhitng youl have a massive headache.

gl and let us know how it goes......:icon_bigg

p.s if you can have ti flow tested right away make sure you have a solid manifold before you go building upon it

Oh I sure will make sure they're no leaks, that is the first thing I am doing, I also want to see how close or far* the 2j bolt pattern is compared to the 7m, I am sure it's a huge amount, but this project will lead me in the correct direction.

I don't think they're that close in the first place. (Comparing JZ to 7M.)
It's been done before, welding them together, but it looks terrible.

Well, the way it will be done it will look very nice. I don't plan on hacking this thing apart.

But thank you for your enthusiasm about seeing this work :(

Just been there, done that... you know?

I think the best plan for you would be to cut the top portion off of what you bought, and have it welded to a cut portion of the stock upper plenum.

to do it correctly, you need the 2jzgte lower runners, the 7m lowers, cut off the flanges, fab up new runners @ an extended length, not to mention the angle on the 2j flange. They are no where near "bolt up". ISC is a direct bolt on, no provision for CSI. Only the 2j TB will bolt up. Anything else, you need a custom flange welded.

Whoa...just looked @ the link! I thought we were talking about a "stock" 2jzgte manifold.

Much work has to be done. I am aware of this, so no one see this working correctly huh? if I take the lower intake runner off my supra and then weld them on.. I could even cut this stock top and make this work. i just want to see how this will work, and I like a challenge, I think i did okay for the price, and many of you may not agree..

Well, I hope for more insight, and everything that is being said always helps, negative comments are just as helpful.:wiggle:

Ahh! Yeah, no this is a aftermarket one. I still do know I will run into so many problems that will make this a exhausting process, but I really like knowing I put time into something instead of just throwing it all together.

Bryan did you get the ebay link I sent you, I found the telescoping rears for you in black Buy It Now* 30.00 + 15.00 shipping!
