I hope this isn't the type of sponsorship where shops offer you a large amount of money in savings over their retail price.

Then again, maybe you found the 1 shop in the world that can't wait to throw bags of money at a guy who has no clue what he is doing lol. If you are in fact serious and I really shouldn't be laughing at this, then go to supraforums and buy a mk4 that is already built with a single turbo

Flopp: You might want to rethink that idea......

Try answering the question I asked and drop the confrontational bullshit and name calling and you might get some answers.

Sorry but just about everything you've posted reeks of the FnF mindset and the vast majority of Mk3 guys are about making their car faster on a budget so care very little for 19's, neons and purple paint..

800rwhp 2jz swap in a Mk3 done cheap.... nope isn't going to happen.

I'm hardly an idiot, but hey. I guess it's possible to have owned a supra for three years, swapped multiple 7M's and a JZ, and not learned anything but what do I know right?

PS: Seriously. A 2JZ and a lot of parts from japan is exactly what you need.

not the way to get people to help you dude...

sad fact is that the people that have posted in this thread DO know plenty about this car. Look at IJ's build thread for example.

Like Ian said, 800hp 2JZ in a mk3 on a budget? not happening.

Do some research and reevaluate what you need and want maby. Just a suggestion.

Although, with an ET time of 11.7, I would think that is somewhere on target for having a highly modified Auto. I don't know. All I know is that I can DEFINATELY stand beside his 11.7 run
You do not need 600 rwhp for that.

Nick M:

I definately did not say that you NEED 600rwhp to run 11's.
But thanks, buddy. :)

Although, I think I did forget to mention that he was on street tires.

flopp the way i look at it very few if none "have the skills" to keep up with 800rwhp
or the driving exprence at 19
start of with 300 or so and go from there

If yah want to gain respect here learn from what the "old" guys have to say
they know what there talking about

this thread is horrible. You wont get sponsored unless its by that piece of shit rip off company.
If you dont believe me its a rip off. I know the owner and workers for his company and they have flat out admitted it to me many times. He gets rich off kids like you at $90 a pop. They accept anything that has $90 with it.

Answers, in my opinion:

1) Difficult
2) 10k+ for a good build
3) About as much as a 2jz
4) Yes. A few people on here have done it. Just search.

Now listen: Shut up, search, read and LEARN before you start getting nasty with the guys on here that actually know what they're doing.

:icon_evil ok back on track. I want 600-800hp to out run a 300zx twin turbo and a mitsubishi vr4 both are tuned up quite a bit. Please answer my questions why is one turbo better than 2 I am a noob to turbos. I have drove a 400hp car and like I said I am an adrenilain junky. what would be the cheapest way to get my desired hp.
Quite being harshthanks but I know what I want I thought you would understand:1zhelp:

Pull your head out of your ass & research for yourself, NOOB! What are you going to do next, ask for free parts & labor? In-fuggin-credible, do your own damn homework & quite acting like a 16 year old in his first day of highschool autoshop.

If you have a shop build you an 800whp 2jz mkiii it would prob cost like 30k-40k or something like that with new suspension, paint, wheels, etc. actually it would probably be more than that.

now come back down to earth and read through the archives here and on supraforums. the link i gave you earlier in this thread is a perfect place to start.........

I've looked at the previous posts and looks like all your answers are there, based on the vagueness of the questions.

In the 1JZ/2JZ swap stickies you will find EXACTLY what you ask... components, costs, time, effort, as well as who's done it.

The MKIV guys are easily doing 600-800 on a stock 2JZ block with fuel/engine managment, and single setups. Still costs them about $5K to do that, not including cost of acquiring and installing the engine.

I've unsuccessfully done a couple of swaps and am on my 3rd...(don't even make me add up what it costs to go back to a GD 7M...yeah, I did that too!) others got it right the 1st time. You need to see the gotchas and prepare for the worst case scenario....

By the way, when any nuwbee asks, this is pretty much what we tell them. It's all already there. Takes less time to read it, than to fuss over the responses you received and don't like. Don't take it personally... just do your homework and don't ask for straight up easy answers, or for what you want to hear... you ain't gonna get it here.

Good luck...

We've already given you the answers. Just because we didnt spoon feed you the info doesnt mean we didnt help.

Let me try and break it down for you again...
There are sections DEDICATED to swapping a 1/2j into a mkiii both on here, and on Supraforums. Click on the search button in the upper right corner of your screen and go to advanced search. Then type in a key word, and then pick the appropriate section. Guess what happens? Info comes up from people that have done/are doing it. What a concept.

Its going to take time and money period. If you cheap out, things will break. Period. Work your way up to 800whp. Just cuz you've driven a "400hp" car, doesnt mean you can handle double that because youre an "adrenaline junky". Get real.

I dont know how to tell you any different without fuckin searching myself, and that aint happening.

And that "poser" comment is the most hypocritical thing ive ever seen....Have fun with your "swap"......

EDIT-you can feel free to stop hoping for that sponsorship....that shit is NOT gonna happen. Start saving your pennies.....
