I am almost close to finish my 2jzgte project on my 90' mk3...
Bought the Aristo motor with 4000 $ shiped to my door from Japan.
(I am located in Athens,Greece and I paid 1400$ for shipping :evil2: )
I am doing 70% of the work alone.I paid almost 1500 $ to a mechanic
who is also a very good friend to do the heavy work! We checked the
main crank bearings and rod bearings to be sure, and some other stuff...
I thought with 6000-7000 $ I will finish the swap :nono:
Guess what,I am done 80% and I have spend almost 10.000 $ till now :aigo:
It is not an easy job....IT NEEDS TIME...A LOT OF TIME !!!! And MONEY !!!
Don't mention the little favours that you need to get from friends and shops!
It is not only the motor to be had...(I had the R-154 trans already)
You will also need:

# Clutch & disc (since we have a 2jz and soon will make big power, now is
the chance that we have the trans on sight.
# 1jz bellhousing
# Custom Downpipe
# Custom IC pipes
# Silicon hoses for vacuum and IC,and various clamps
# Many custom built brackets for new parts. (For example the aristo ignitor
is located on the right side :naughty: ,and need to install it there)

# 7m water temp. valve for gauge cluster (got new cause 7m was sold)
# 7m,two air condition valves (we need them for the elec.fan when a/c is on)
