Car turns on idles fine but if i step on it it chokes up and just wont rev anymore it just doesnt rev. If i rev it slowly and slowly it will rev higher up to the 4k as long as i dont step on it.

WTF i didnt have this problem with my last supra

Edit: car ran fine last night with the stock pump no vac/boost leaks have a code 51 and 21 o2 and idle but still the car ran fine last night and pulled hard. Today i change the pump now it wint run.

Could possibly a bad tps + an increase in fuel pressure cause the ecu to go into limp mode? I'm pretty sure I did the install correctly because the car is running... if I had done it wrong the pump wouldn't work and it wouldn't start I suppose? Plus theres not much I could've screwed up all I had to do was connect the clip provided to the two wires from the original pump...

Also something really weird... as I smash the pedal to the floor and the car gets to 2k rpm its like it just floats there and the motor makes no noise, but I notice my stock boost gauge goes from - negative to 0 meaning I'm making boost?

Bad pump or u switched the two wires around. It stays idle because there is no demand for fuel when u press the throttle u lose your fuel pressure. Also 0 is not boost

I'll just put this out there. If the car runs with the stock pump but doesn't run with the walbro, what do you think changes between those two situations?

My brother ran into the exact same issue. We did at lot of digging into other parts not considering the pump because it was new. Nearly 3 weeks and $400 bucks in un-needed parts it turned out that our first guess was right and it was the fuel pump. We changed it and the car has ran fine ever since.

Turns out I had the line that connects to the fuel filter kinked extremely bad... gotta source a new one from a junkyard or something tomorrow

I think you can get one from a toyota dealership pretty cheap. That'd be a lot less headache than a junkyard find IMHO.... Anyways hope it fixes your problem.
