Thanks! and you're right there is a slight gap between hood and fender, I haven't quite got the fitment right but I think it might have something to do with the hood construction. Plus I think I need to adjust my intercooler pipes the louvers hang down into the engine so far that I think they are making contact with the pipes.

Ahh, could be. Aligning the hoods on these things can be a pain, particularly if you forget to mark the hinges before removal! Then again, that doesn't help with a new hood haha...
