Title fixed.

It's an improvement on the current design. I'm not a big Mustang fan to start with, but this doesn't look bad at all.

It looks nice, to be honest.

I actually prefer the front end design of the V6 over the GT...

the rear looks chopped off, but I like the small detail where the taillights dip down.

Hmmm its like they keep taking styling cues from the 60's and 70's. Im seeing a bit of 71-73 Mustang in that concept. Im happy as long as they dont return to the god awful Mustang II's.

i remember talking to joe siler, svt design manager, a couple years ago.. he was really tight lipped about the project, but seemed really excited about it.

\i think it looks ok, but the stance is insane. jesus they got that thing jacked up like an f150!

and i dont know why ford is so all about those double 5 spoked wheels on the last few series of mustangs.. they just dont come off very aggressive in comparison to some simple 5's man. cobra r's, deep dish bullets, the 5.0 5 spokes, y2k cobra wheels.. ford has made some badass 5 spoke mustang wheels. all of their wheels lately have sucked.

i dont like the rocker panels either. if they would have chopped the whole design at the rockers and made that the actual bottom of the car, it would be much more sleek. mofo looks TALL.

well see what the production version looks like.. itll prolly be lame as hell and completely different compared to the concept anyway.

yeah,

meh

Yep, rocker panels are too tall, and are alsmot in line with the center of the wheel. Even lowering isn't going to get it low enough to offset that as the wheel arches are just too low in the body.

At least they learned that changing it up too much would be a bad thing (just like when they did the "new edge" remodel) as it sells like mad, but it still needs a decent suspension!

i think that if it uses an origional name,it has to have hints of the origional style.
biggest basher of that rule is the dodge charger. at least they got it right with the challenger

Honestly...looks like crap. Simple.

They screwed up by making the V6 front end look a ton better then the GT. I guarantee the first ones on my club will replace the GT front bumper cover with the V6 one. I really don't like the hump near the rear quarter window. And the rear end is awful. Hood looks good and the interior has some nice touches. But overall it is a downgrade from the current model. Shelby and Roush are going to do some trick stuff with it that might make it look better.

Worst part of the car...THE TAIL LIGHTS!! They really screwed those up.

Just my opinions...I know that a lot of Mustang enthusiasts will skip over this model.

The reveal was cool though...Von Gitten(sp) was good.

This was the production version, not the concept. They are already taking orders for it and expect them to be filled early March.
