^^^^LOL...

I was told the needles are not supposed to move like that after you disassemble and reassemble them, but the same thing happen with 3 clusters I have here. I was hoping that it will go away once is receives current and goes back to normal.

If someone knows anything, please let me know.

I have to take it apart later anyways to finish labeling the LED indicators...

It is true Miguel. I took mine apart and they went like that but went back to normal once I pout power to them ;)

Miguel;

WTF!!!!! Not really sure what I can add to this thread that would do it any justice to it!! WTF is pretty much all my brain is coming up with now. Without a doubt this is the BEST Build thread EVER; if I had to mention everything on my mind now it would be a 20 paragraph post. Don't think I've ever gone threw so many emotions just from reading a build thread...INSANE!!

Keep up the GREAT work and I really hope to come and see this beast in person when I'm in PA next month. BTW; thanks for the kind words earlier...PEACE.

NO and YES :biglaugh: Once I get a bit more free time, I'll do write ups of how I did everything, where I went to get the parts and all that and post it on my site Supraholics.com

UP NEXT:

I wanna see if I get time to go and drop off my brake and fuel lines. The shop who is doing my brake and fuel lines in Stainless Steel are 4 hours away on way and they have to scan the original in order to bend the SS lines.

All brake lines are going to be stock size, fuel is gonna be 1/2 inch.

Once I get all the bolts, I'll drop the car on the ground, clean it up and take pics, especially to showcase the AWESOME looking Carbon Fiber winshield cowl I got from Raptor Racing.

I got an electrical engineer finish my circuit for the push start button and it will also include a turbo timer in it, which can be changed to different time intervals.

Once the outside is done, then comes the engine. Here are my plans so far. PLEASE TECHNICAL EXPERIENCED PEOPLE LET ME KNOW IF IT WOULDN'T WORK.

I will do a 2.5JZ dry sump, with MoTec and ITBs.

What's a 2.5JZ??? Is a 1JZ block with 2JZ head.

I'm looking to have this kind of response:
http://jstylecars.com/?p=232

I'm estimating around $30K - $40K on the engine, so is gonna take me a while to finish, since I don't finance my fun. In the mean time, I'll build a stock 7M for the car. I promise is not gonna be a normal 7M though, the entire engine will be powder coated and ceramic coated. The finish will match the rest of the car. I'm not putting anything in there that's not following the same kind of "attention to detail" thinking policy I've followed for the rest of the car.

Also, and I'm not sure if I should say this now, BUT, I've been working with John from CCW and they are making me a 5 spoke wheel similar to the Kinesis K59R. They are currently very busy since they have unfinished orders and are moving to a new location, but he said sometime in the summer. We'll see how things turn out...

I wanted to have the car done by 2008, BUT life is life and I have to take care of my home and my family. They always come first so, I'm not in a hurry. I'll continue to drop money into this car until is done the way I want it.

I still have the Lexus IS, the Corolla GTS, the Cressida Turbo, and the bike to keep me entertained :biglaugh: and now I also have this to keep me happy http://www.lehighvalleygrandprix.com/

Jay, I'm certainly taking the road less traveled, but that's because most people focus on brute power rather than response. I only care to have about 500-600RWHP, but I want RESPONSE....INSANE RESPONSE. I want the power delivered yesterday :biglaugh:

in therory wouldnt it just make more power and have the ability to rev higher?

(i wanted to go 1jz w/ a 2jz head!)

In theory, it should make more power than a 1JZ long block, that's mostly why I'm using the 2JZ head, because it flows better than the 1JZ head and is a better valve train.

Well, to have the trottle responce like that GTR you'd have to lighten the rotateing assembly (alot) and shorten the stroke. You'd want to use a smaller clutch an flywheel. You'd almost have to go with a high compression set up, the turbo would top out low in your powerband and limit your HP. If I'm wrong someone please chime in.

^^^^ yeah, that's why I changed my plans from a Twin Turbo 7M to a 2.5JZ. Built 1JZ bottom, 2JZ head, dry sump setup, possibly a tilton triple carbon clutch (if something better doesn't come out by then), etc...
